Amidst the many structures that we have built on the Adriatic, one house in particular stands out: Sara; with its modern, clean design it fits perfectly into the Dalmatian architectural heritage. Our photographs depict Sara, built in the town of Korčula on the island of Korčula. Sara has been adapted to the client’s unique preferences. From the original design, one floor was removed, whilst the interior was adjusted in such a way that the house can be used for a variety of purposes: as a year-round residential home, to ad hoc family holidays, or as a holiday let. We designed Sara so it can tolerate the extremes of the Adriatic and Mediterranean climate, from summer heat to the blast of the bora wind in winter.
